Newspaper Headlines: Auditor-general indicts n’assembly over alleged N9.4bn unexplained expenses

The promise made by President Muhammadu Buhari to recover all funds stolen from the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) appeared on the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

Daily Independent reports that Buhari vowed to recover every kobo stolen from the NDDC. The newspaper says the auditor-general of the federation indicted the management of the national assembly and the national assembly service commission over alleged N9.4 billion unexplained expenditures.
The Punch reports that uncertainty is trailing the February national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) said six multinationals will pay N249 billion oil proceeds in January, the newspaper says.
