Newspaper Headlines: Bandits using walkie-talkies to beat telecoms shutdown

The response of President Muhammadu Buhari to the comment of Anthony Blinken, US secretary of state, on the implementation of the reports of the #EndSARS panels appeared on the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

Daily Sun reports that bandits are now using radio frequency walkie-talkie to communicate to bypass the shutdown of telecommunications services. The newspaper says Buhari said the federal government is waiting for governors to take decision on the reports of the #EndSARS panels.
Daily Independent says Buhari has signed the climate change bill into law. The newspaper reports that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) may no longer go ahead with its planned strike following the intervention of Femi Gbajabiamila, speaker of the house of representatives.
