Newspaper Headlines: Blackout to worsen as 20 power plants break down

The Punch reports that gunmen disguised as worshippers killed at least 35 people in St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo state. The newspaper says blackouts to worsen in many parts of the country as 20 power plants suffer major collapse.
The Nation reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has insisted that consensus arrangement is the best option for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to elect its presidential candidate. The newspaper says Yahaya Bello, governor of Kogi, said he is still in the presidential race despite the resolution of 11 northern governors that power should go to the south, the newspaper says.
