Newspaper Headlines: Confusion as banks, fuel stations reject old naira notes despite s’court order

Confusion trailing the rejection of the old naira notes in banks, filling stations, and markets dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that some commercial banks and filling stations have stopped collecting the old naira notes from customers despite the ruling of the supreme court. President Muhammadu Buhari has launched new security equipment for the police ahead of the forthcoming polls, the newspaper says.
