Newspaper Headlines: El-Rufai, NLC lock horns over disengagement of workers

The confrontation between Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna state, and members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) which took another on Tuesday dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers. 

The PUNCH reports that the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) threatened to embark on a nationwide strike over the sack of over 4,000 workers in Kaduna state. The house of representatives has resolved to probe the alleged killing of five persons by officers of the Nigeria Customs Service in Iseyin, Oyo state, the newspaper says.
