Newspaper Headlines: FG considers converting $30bn domiciliary deposits to naira

The national dailies dwell on the wanton killing of traditional rulers in the south-west region of the country, and efforts by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to rescue the naira.

Daily Trust reports that Bode George, former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has pleaded with Atiku Abubakar, a former vice-president, to drop his bid for the presidency in 2027, in order to allow younger Nigerians to contest.
