Reports on the rise in the death toll from cholera infections dominate the frontpages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that the death toll from the cholera outbreak in Lagos has risen to 37. The newspaper reports that the federal government has begun the proposed audit of the N2.7 trillion petrol subsidy claim by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC).
Daily Trust reports that the judgment of the federal high court in Kano has left parties in the suit in limbo, after the court declared the actions taken by Abba Yusuf, governor of Kano, on May 23, as “null and void”, but refused to nullify the Kano Emirate Council Repeal Law 2024.
Vanguard reports that the Rivers government said it is not worried by the barricade of the LGA secretariats in the state by the police. The newspaper says protesters in Kaduna have called for the prosecution of Nasir el-Rufai, former governor of the state, over alleged diversion of public funds.
