Newspaper Headlines: FG, IOCs agree on crude oil supply to Dangote, local refineries

The Punch reports that the supreme court has outlawed the appointment of caretaker committees to administer LGAs. The apex court also declared as illegal the practice of governors retaining funds allocated to councils. The newspaper says the federal government and crude oil producers in Nigeria have committed to working towards sustainable supply of crude oil to local refineries under a market-determined pricing system.
THISDAY reports that President Bola Tinubu met with leaders of the labour unions on Thursday over a new minimum wage. The newspaper says Olayemi Cardoso, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), said the current monetary policies are yielding results, with month-on-month inflation rate indicating a more stable economic outlook.
