Newspaper Headlines: FG may ground 60 private jets over unpaid import duty

The Punch reports that the federal government, through the Nigerian Customs Service, will on Monday ground over 60 private jets over unpaid import duty running into billions of naira. The newspaper says the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) said international bilateral electricity customers in Benin Republic and Togo owe Nigeria $5.79 million for the energy consumed in the second quarter of 2024.
