Newspaper Headlines: FG plans fresh cash transfer scheme for 75m Nigerians

The Punch reports that the federal government is planning a fresh cash transfer scheme for 75 million Nigerians. The newspaper says the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has hinted that another nationwide strike could be on the horizon as negotiations for a new minimum wage are deadlocked again.
The Guardian reports that opposition parties and loyalists of President Bola Tinubu have disagreed over the performance of the president within one year in office. The newspaper says the tussle over the Emir of Kano position has taken another dimension as different courts have issued conflicting orders.
Vanguard reports that Wale Edun, minister of finance and coordinating minister of the economy, said the federal government now has enough to clear the country’s debts.
