Newspaper Headlines: FG seeks Egypt’s support to rescue Nigerians in Sudan by road

Reports on the planned evacuation of Nigerians from Sudan amid the lingering armed conflict dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch says the federal government is making preparations to evacuate about 5,500 stranded Nigerians out of Sudan through the Egyptian town of Luxor. The newspaper says the police have launched a manhunt for Hudu Yunusa-Ari, resident electoral commissioner in Adamawa.
