Newspaper Headlines: FG winning battle against oil theft, banditry, says Ribadu

Reports on the appeal court verdict on the Zamfara governorship election, and the state of the economy, dominate the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that Nuhu Ribadu, national security adviser, has asked Nigerians to be patient with the administration of President Bola Tinubu, saying the challenges inherited from the previous government will not disappear overnight. The newspaper says banks are now owing telecommunications firms N200 billion for unstructured supplementary service data (USSD).
