Newspaper Headlines: INEC plans voting centres for two million IDPs

The insistence of Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), on the cash withdrawal limit and the criticism of the policy by federal lawmakers, dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch says Emefiele has insisted on the implementation of the cash withdrawal limit but with some review of the policy. The newspaper reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is planning voting centres for two million internally displaced persons (IDPs) for the 2023 elections.
The Nation says Lucky Irabor, chief of defence staff (CDS), has assured Nigerians that the armed forces will not be forced to compromise the 2023 elections. The newspaper reports that the Department of State Services (DSS) has issued an ultimatum to stakeholders in the petroleum industry to make petrol available to Nigerians.
