Newspaper Headlines: Most filling stations yet to receive Dangote petrol, says IPMAN

Reports on the close race between the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Edo governorship election suffuse the frontpages of the dailies.

The Punch reports that Asue Ighodalo of the PDP and Monday Okpebholo of the APC are in a tight race in the Edo governorship election. The newspaper says the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) said most filling stations are yet to get petrol from the Dangote Petrochemical Refinery.
Vanguard reports that power play and permutations for the 2027 presidential election are causing divisions in the PDP governors’ forum.
