PUNCH reports that organised labour has urged President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the ongoing negotiations over minimum wage to avert the indefinite strike scheduled to start on Monday. The newspaper says former President Olusegun Obasanjo said Nigeria is becoming more volatile, uncertain and complex.
Daily Trust reports that flight disruptions, fuel scarcity, and power outages loom as organised labour has started mobilising its members for indefinite strike over the failure of the federal government to implement a new minimum wage. The newspaper says Tinubu said the killers of soldiers in Abia state committed a treasonable offence.
