Newspaper Headlines: North-west, south-west top 93m voter register

The assurances of stakeholders, including President Muhammadu Buhari, that the forthcoming elections will be held as scheduled despite security concerns, dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch says north-west and the south-west zones of the country have the lion’s share of the 93.4 million eligible voters expected to vote in the forthcoming elections.
