Newspaper Headlines: Ondo APC guber hopefuls besiege Abuja for Tinubu’s endorsement

Reports on the swearing-in of Senegalese president, the feud between Siminalayi Fubara, governor of Rivers, and the state house of assembly, and the recapitalisation of banks, suffuse the frontpages today. 

The Punch reports that revenue generation by electricity distribution companies surged to N1.1 trillion in 2023. The newspaper says Ola Olukoyede, chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), said the trial of former governors shows that the agency will not spare anybody.
The Nation says the recapitalisation policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has received the backing of deposit money banks (DMBs).
