Newspaper Headlines: Oyetola may engage 50 lawyers to challenge Adeleke’s victory in Osun election

The directive of President Muhammadu Buhari to Adamu Adamu, minister of education, to end the strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in two weeks dominated the headlines of Nigerian newspapers.

The Nation reports that Buhari has directed Chris Ngige, minister of labour, not to interfere in the negotiations with ASUU. The newspaper reports that the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) said 57.07 percent of electricity consumers in the country are still on estimated billing.
The Punch says Gboyega Oyetola, governor of Osun, may engage at least 50 lawyers to challenge the victory of Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Saturday’s governorship election.
