Newspaper Headlines: PDP fears Wike-Atiku feud may affect chances in 2023 presidential poll

The promise of President Muhammadu Buhari that he will support candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Nation says Buhari has promised to work for the victory of the APC in the 2023 elections. The newspaper reports that the World Bank and the US Export-Import Bank have committed $3 billion to Nigeria’s energy transition plan.
The Punch says there are increasing fears in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that the feud between Atiku Abubakar, its presidential candidate, and Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers, may affect its chances in the 2023 presidential election.
