Newspaper Headlines: PDP south-east leaders demand VP slot

The release of code of practice by the federal government for social media platforms with online presence in Nigeria dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that leaders of the south-east zone in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have asked the party to cede the vice-presidential candidate slot to the zone. The newspaper says the federal government has asked social media platforms to appoint country representatives.
