Newspaper Headlines: PDP sues INEC, APC… seeks disqualification of Obi, Tinubu

President Muhammadu Buhari’s new order to security chiefs to confront and eliminate terrorists dominates the front pages of Nigerian dailies.

The Punch reports that Babachir Lawal, former secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), has described the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a direct attack on Christians. The newspaper says the PDP has sued INEC, APC and is seeking the disqualification of Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu.
