Newspaper Headlines: Pensioners threaten protest as FG, four states owe N193bn

Reactions trailing President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet reshuffle permeate the frontpages today. 

The Punch reports that the appointments of four ministers from Ogun state have raised eyebrows in some quarters. The newspaper says the senate has approved 15 percent from the consolidated revenue fund as the source of funding for the newly created zonal development commissions. Punch also highlights the plight of pensioners as Nigeria’s economy continues to inflict pain on the young and old.
Daily Trust reports that President Bola Tinubu has ordered ministers and heads of federal government agencies to reduce the number of vehicles in their convoys to three.
