Newspaper Headlines: Presidency, OSGF disagree over ministers’ refusal to resign

The death of two officers of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in a plane crash that occurred in Kaduna state dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that the presidency and the office of the secretary to the government of the federation have disagreed over the refusal of ministers to resign in line with section 84(12) of the Electoral Act, 2022. The newspaper says Ayo Adebanjo, Afenifere leader, has asked Bola Tinubu, former Lagos governor, and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo to drop their presidential ambition.
