The Punch reports that the federal government raised the new borrowing limit to N61 trillion to accommodate fresh loans. The newspaper says the All Progressives Congress suspended 11 followers of Lai Mohammed, minister of information and culture.

 


The Guardian says the senate approved Buhari’s fresh $8.325 billion, €490 million external loan requests. The newspaper reports that Buhari has approved N6.52 billion for ranching.
