Newspaper Headlines: State attorneys-general sue Malami over recovered loot

The decision of the state attorney-generals to sue Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation, over remittance of recovered loot and the response of Malami dominated the headlines of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that President Muhammadu Buhari bowed to the yearnings of majority of Nigerians with the signing of the Petroleum Industry Bill into law. The newspaper says Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) faulted the reintegration of repentant Boko Haram members into society.
The Nation says governors have faulted the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) on six grounds. The newspaper reports that state governments have asked the federal government to give account of the N2.28 trillion recovered loot.
