Newspaper Headlines: Telecoms sector loses 6m subscribers in six months

Reports on the inauguration of ministers dominate the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers today.

The Punch says the federal government may demolish over 30 illegal settlements and slums, and over 6,000 illegal buildings in the federal capital territory (FCT). The newspaper reports that the federal government is expected to make up to $17 billion if it sells its stake in most joint-venture oil and assets.
