Newspaper Headlines: Tinubu submits Shettima’s name to INEC

Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has submitted the name of Kashim Shettima, former governor of Borno, as his running mate to INEC.

The former governor of Lagos is scheduled to have a meeting with the leadership of the Christian Association in Nigeria (CAN).

The Nation reports that the chief justice of Nigeria (CJN) will start earning N10 million monthly owing to a court order on increment of judges’ salaries. The newspaper says Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the APC, has submitted Kashim Shettima’s name as running mate.
The Punch reports that parties, including APC and PDP, have devised new vote-buying strategies in the Osun election. The newspaper says Ohanaeze Ndigbo has appealed to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to allow elections to be held in the south-east.
