Reports on the politicking for the 10th national assembly leadership positions and postponement of the census dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch reports that aspirants hoping to occupy leadership positions in the 10th national assembly have intensified lobbying. The newspaper says the federal government is making arrangements for the payment of visa fees for stranded Nigerians at the border of Egypt.
