Launched in 2015, the organisers said the competition seeks to reward hard work, commitment and diligence to duty by teachers.
It said the Nigerian Breweries- Felix Ohiwerei Education Trust Fund was established to give voice to the company’s philosophy of “winning with Nigeria,” through active support of Nigeria’s educational system.
Johan Doyer, the managing director of Nigerian Breweries Plc., revealed this at the grand finale of the competition.
“Today’s grand finale gives us an opportunity to share happiness with our teachers and I hope that this initiative reminds everyone to support and encourage our teachers always,” Doyer said.
