The Super Eagles of Nigeria retained the 40th spot in the latest FIFA world rankings published on Thursday.
On the African continent, Nigeria also maintained its fifth position.
Cameroon and Algeria, also unmoved, are 33rd and 54th respectively while Zambia dropped a spot down from 97th to 98th position.
South Africa and Seychelles maintained their 64th and 196th positions respectively while Libya move a spot up from 91 to 90.

There were no changes in the top 10 positions in the world rankings.
Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Chile, Colombia, France, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland, and Spain make up the top ten in descending order.
