The Super Eagles of Nigeria has moved two spots up in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola world rankings to be the 29th best team in the world.
According to the list released on Thursday by the world football body, the Super Eagles maintained its 3rd position in the continent.
With over 6-month of disruption of football activities across the world due to the coronavirus pandemic, the three-time African champion maintained their 1493 points on the pole.
The resumption of 54 UEFA Nations League games in September saw an immediate impact on the FIFA/Coca-Cola world rankings, which had remained unchanged since April 9.

Algeria, African champions, retained their 4th position in the continent and 35th in the world, while Tunisia and Ivory Coast moved one spot up each and are 26th and 60th respectively.
Senegal maintained their 20th spot — their best ever FIFA ranking — and 1st position in the continent.
There is no change in Africa’s first ten: Senegal, Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria, Morocco, Ghana, Egypt, Cameroon, Mali and Congo.

Meanwhile, Belgium, France and Brazil maintained their 1st, 2nd and 3rd spots respectively.
Ten top ranked nations: Belgium (1), France (2), Brazil (3), England (4), Portugal (5), Uruguay (6), Spain (7), Croatia (8), Argentina (9), Colombia (10).
The next rankings will be published on October 22, 2020.
