Super Eagles of Nigeria are still on 42nd place in the latest FIFA Rankings released for November, the same position they were in October.
In the month under review, Super Eagles, who failed to qualify for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, played three games – a friendly win against Ghana in Uyo, a victory over Congo in Pointe Noire, and a draw with South Africa also in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
However, with no official games scheduled for the next few months, Nigeria are expected to suffer a slide on the rankings.
South Africa and Congo, who qualified from Group A above Nigeria, have moved up in the rankings as a result of their qualification.

In the women’s category, Super Falcons are number one in Africa and 35 in the world.
