Super Eagles of Nigeria remained in 53rd position in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola world ranking released on Thursday.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner also maintained their top-10 rating in Africa in 9th place while Saturday’s opponent Tanzania are 140 in the world and 41 in Africa.
There was no change at the top globally with Argentina continuing to lead the way ahead of Belgium (2nd) and Germany (3rd).
Chile (8th, up 2) are the only team to have made significant movement in the top ten, and they are now in their highest-ever position since the revision of the global ladder in 2006.
