The Super Eagles of Nigeria are now ranked 33rd in the world, according to the latest rankings relased by world soccer governing body FIFA for the month of July.
Nigeria moved up a spot from last month’s ranking but still remain third in Africa, behind Ivory Coast and Algeria.
The Super Eagles polled 664 points, 10 points more than their ranking last month.
World Cup winners, Germany remain at the top of the world ranking table with 1736 points. Argentina lie second place with 1604 points, the Netherlands in third place with 1507 points with Colombia in fourth place.

The results of 23 new international “A” matches were taken into account for the current edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking.
Ten of these matches were friendlies, whereas the remaining 13 matches were qualifiers for the next CAF Africa Cup of Nations.
