President Muhammadu Buhari says as chairman of ECOWAS Contact Group on Guinea, he will do his best to ensure that the country does not relapse into crisis.
Guinea was thrown into crisis after Domingos Pereira, the then prime minister was removed by President Jose Vaz in August 2015.
Vaz replaced Pereira with 44-year old Embalo, a retired general, who had served in previous administrations.
While receiving Umaro El-Mukhtar Sissoco-Embol, the incumbent prime minister of Guniea, at the state house on Wednesday, Buhari expressed happiness with the gradual return of normalcy to the country.
