Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been declared winner of the presidential election in Ondo state.
Tinubu scored a total of 369,924 votes to defeat his closet rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who had 115,463 votes and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) who polled 47,350 votes
Abayomi Fashina, the state returning officer, announced the final tally at INEC headquarters in Akure, the state capital, after the presentation of results by the collation officers from the 18 LGAs.
The former Lagos state governor won in all the 18 LGAs of the state.

Tinubu also won the presidential election in Ogun state after the results were announced early on Monday.
The APC candidate secured 341,554 votes while Atiku polled 123,831 and Peter Obi secured 85,829 votes.
Atiku Abubakar however defeated Bola Tinubu in Katsina, the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The result was announced by Muazu Abubakar, the Katsina state returning officer.
Atiku polled 489,045 votes to defeat Tinubu who had 482, 283 while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) got 69,386 votes.
