Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) has won the presidential election conducted in Ebonyi and Cross River states.
In the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for Ebonyi, Obi polled 259,738 to defeat Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Tinubu polled 42,402 votes, Atiku secured 13,503 votes, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) came fourth with 1,661 votes.
In Cross River, the LP candidate secured 179,917 votes, while Tinubu got 130,520, and Atiku polled 95,425 in third place.

Akpofure Rim-Rukeh, the state collation officer, said the total number of registered voters was 169,1642 out of which 444,880 were accredited.
Meanwhile, Atiku has been declared the winner of the presidential poll in Bayelsa state.
The former vice-president secured 68,818 votes, while LP got 49,975 votes ahead of Tinubu with 42,572 votes.
