#NigeriaElections2023: Tinubu enjoys strong lead in Ondo, wins 12 of 13 LGs announced

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, is leading by a wide margin in Ondo state.

The former Lagos state governor has so far won 12 LGAs while Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, has won one.

Results from the remaining five LGAs are expected to be announced Sunday evening.

Tinubu secured a total of 232,282 votes while Atiku got 106,253 votes.

Peter Obi, the standard bearer of the Labour Party (LP), has so far polled 24,097 votes while Rabiu Kwankwaso, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) flagbearer, has 483.
