Afrilearn has launched a new gamified learn-and-earn application for primary and secondary school students in Nigeria.
The application is a gamified edutech platform that provides users, especially students, with the “most comprehensive curriculum-based class notes, animated video lessons, instant homework help, examination practice, and personalised learning dashboards”.
It allows students to learn at their own pace at any time while providing them opportunities to compete with peers, earn points and money.
The Afrilearn founders announced the launch of the application in a recent statement.

“In a nation where quality education is a persistent challenge, Afrilearn stands out by aligning with the national curriculum to offer the most comprehensive educational resources. These include curriculum-based class notes, animated video lessons, instant homework assistance, game-based exam practice, and personalised learning dashboards,” the statement reads in part.

Isaac Oladipupo, the co-founder, said Afrilearn “is our commitment to helping Nigerian children compete globally”.

The tech expert disclosed that the app aims to bring out the “greatness in every child with right learning style”.
“Every child has greatness within them if given the right learning style. Afrilearn is our commitment to helping Nigerian children compete globally and prepare for lifelong success,” he said.
On her part, Jayne Augoye, the product marketing manager, said: “Afrilearn is like having a personal tutor in your pocket, ready to help with homework, explain tough concepts, and prepare for exams, all while making learning exciting”.

Also speaking, Damiete Dateme, a secondary school student in Lagos, said the application has “helped her attain distinction in her results”.
“Afrilearn’s features helped me achieve straight A’s in my exams. It provides the most detailed class notes for every subject from JSS1 to SS3, and its AI assistant is beneficial,” she said.
“The app includes past questions and timed tests for WAEC, NECO, UTME, and BECE aspirants. It’s an amazing tool that I highly recommend.”
