The National Institute for Sports (NIS) has declared support for Folashade Rachael Airebamen, the new chair of the Institute of Corporate and Public Sector Professionals (ICPSP) governing council.
John Dadi Mamud, the director and CEO of the NIS, spoke on Friday when Airebamen and her team visited the institute at the national stadium in Surulere, Lagos in their capacity as officials of the ICPSP.
“We are delighted that one of us has emerged as the head of Nigeria’s foremost body for corporate and public sector professionals,” he said.
“And we are ready to offer every support that we can to ensure your success, especially as our institute’s image is being projected through your leadership.

“The NIS has also studied your seven-point agenda in which we as an institute have a major role to play with a view to ensuring that it turns around the vital sectors of the country.
“We are also happy that your tenure is taking off at a time when there is a concerted effort at making the sports sector viable and self-sustaining. This is an opportunity for us to collaborate towards achieving greater success.”
Mamud commended the ICPSP’s pledge to aid the NIS in organising seminars, training, and conferences for the institute. He also asked Airebamen to forward the ICPSP’s proposal while assuring the institute of prompt response.
