Nizamiye Hospital celebrates nurses

The Nizamiye Hospital says nurses are valued members in every hospital, and their passion for patients’ health should be appreciated.

In a statement to commemorate the International Nurses Day, Mohammed Abubakar, public relations officer of the hospital, said the role of nurses cannot be overemphasised.

He said the hospital extended its appreciation to the nurses for their hard work, dedication, and professionalism, especially in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.

“The contributions of Nurses to society cannot be overemphasized. Nurses advocate for health promotion, educate patients and the public on the prevention of illness and injury, provide care and assist in the cure, participate in rehabilitation, and provide support,” the statement read.
