Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has arrived at a federal high court in Abuja to continue his trial.
Accompanied by heavy security, Kanu arrived at the court premises at 8:10 am
The IPOB leader was on October 26 re-arraigned on a seven-count charge bordering on treasonable felony and terrorism.
Heather Wilkir, a British envoy, is in court to witness proceedings.

Chukwuemeka Ezeife, former governor of Anambra state, was shut out of the court premises by armed security operatives.
Only five journalists were allowed into the courtroom.
Binta Nyako, the judge, entered the courtroom at 9:45am.

There is a heavy security presence as the Department of State Services (DSS) and the police are guarding every entrance to the court and the streets leading to the court building.
Supporters of the IPOB leader are outside the premises chanting and protesting.
