Olisa Metuh, national publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says nobody in the Anambra state chapter of the party, can suspend him.
Reacting to a statement reportedly issued by Kenneth Arinze, spokesman of the PDP in Anambra, Metuh told TheCable on Friday that nobody from Nnewi, his ward, is capable of doing that.
“Following the suspension of Chief Olisa Metuh by the Otolo Ward 1 Nnewi of the PDP (where Olisa hails from) and the ratification of same by the Nnewi north local government chapter, the state executive committee, after assessing the weighty allegations against Olisa Metuh and finding them heinous, in compliance with the PDP Constitution, hereby, ratifies the suspension and forward same to the national working committee (NWC)” the statement read.
But Metuh, who said his traducers were responsible for the statement, boasted saying: “There is nobody born of a woman from Nnewi that can sign such a statement (notification of suspension).
“I have no problem in the PDP or in Anambra state. I can assure you that nobody from Nnewi can suspend me. I am a national officer.”

Metuh has been in the eye of storm following allegations of corruption by some PDP workers.
In the heat of the saga, he said that he was ready for a probe just to clear his name.
