NOA, ministry of information launch app to engage with Nigerians

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) and ministry of information have launched an application and an explainer newsletter.

Speaking at the launch of the application on Thursday in Kano, Mohammed Idris, minister of information, said the federal government is eager to restore public trust.

The minister said the app named ‘Mobiliser’ will add to the numerous platforms utilised by the NOA to engage with citizens in line with its mandate.

Idris applauded the NOA for continuously improving on its methodologies, and urged Nigerians to fully take advantage of the new app to engage with government and participate in the value re-orientation programmes of the agency.

One crucial feature of the application, he said, was the ‘Say Something’ tool, designed for intelligence gathering and anonymous reporting of crimes.
