Northern governors meet in Kaduna — first time since May

The governors of the 19 northern states are currently meeting in Kaduna to discuss issues concerning the region.

This is the first meeting of the current crop of northern governors, who were sworn in on May 29, 2023.

This is also the first meeting of the northern governors under President Bola Tinubu.

Top of the agenda may be the accidental bombing of Tundun Biri community, Igabi LGA in Kaduna state on December 3.

The villagers were reportedly commemorating the birth of Prophet Mohammad when the jet dropped the bomb that led to the death of several persons. Many were also left injured.
