Amaju Pinnick, the president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has disclosed that the federation is awaiting a feedback from Stephen Keshi after an offer to continue as Super Eagles coach was sent to him.
After several months of delay, the NFF finally made an offer to the coach two weeks ago but Keshi, through his agent, Emmanuel Ado said their “lawyer is studying the contract terms”.
Pinnick said they are prepared to wait, though, not forever.
“We have offered him the contract proposal and it is now left for him to get back to us,”he said.

“We hope we can get a response from him soon or we make a decision.”
On the “slave contract” verdict from Keshi, Pinnick said the federation did a thorough job on the terms and conditions of the deal.
“These things you see are not easy because it had to go through several departments to meet international best practices,” he said.

“We just have to wait to get his response so that we can move forward.”
According to the NFF, Keshi will get N5 million monthly salary besides a comfortable accommodation and other benefits.
