Sporting Lagos forced Abia Warriors to a 1-1 draw to earn their second away point of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season on Wednesday.
The Noisy Lagosians stunned the home crowd at the Umuahia township stadium when Akpesiri Naibe put them ahead in the 18th minute.
The goal was only Sporting’s third goal away from home in the NPFL, and the team held on to it for the majority of the game.
But Paschal Nwabueze struck back for Abia Warriors in the 84th minute and ensured both sides shared the spoils.
