Ifeanyi Ifeanyi drew the first blood before Franklin Sasere equalised for the Owena Whales. Striker Victor Mbaoma scored the winning goal in the 88th minute of action.

Kwara United 1-1 Go Round FC

Kwara United drew 1-1 with Go Round FC in Ilorin. Red hot Stephen Alfred grabbed the opener but Chidi Nwachukwu netted the leveller for the visitors.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah 0-0 Enugu Rangers

The oriental derby was a lively affair but it failed to produce goals as FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Enugu Rangers shared the spoils.

Lobi Stars 1-0 Kano Pillars

In a keenly contested battle that ended 1-0 in favour of Lobi Stars at home to Kano Pillars, Ayo Saka netted the only goal of the game in the 81st minute.

An undaunted Enyimba side picked a point against Wikki Tourists in Jos. The game ended 0-0.

Niger Tornadoes 1-0 Yobe Desert Stars

A last-gasp strike from Andrew Ikefe proved to be the difference as Niger Tornadoes pipped Yobe Desert Stars 1-0.

Katsina United 1-0 El-Kanemi Warriors

In the northern derby, midfield maestro Destiny Ashadi netted the winner for Katsina United who edged Elkanemi Warriors 1-0.
