Week ten of the Nigeria Professional Football League brought about a whole lot of excitement with two away wins recorded.

At the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu Rangers recorded a 2-1 victory over Wikki Tourists.

Michael Uchebo and Godwin Agbara gave the Flying Antelopes a two-goal advantage, but Abba Umar caused a nervous finish with an 86th-minute effort.

MFM FC 2-0 Sunshine Stars

The Agege Township Stadium took centre stage as MFM FC and Sunshine Stars clashed.

In the end, it was the home side, who ended up smiling after recording a 2-0 win through goals from Kabir Adeniji and Michael Ohanu.

Lobi Stars 2-1 Remo Stars

Lobi Stars produced a spirited display to beat Remo Stars 2-1.

Solomon Ogbeide’s side broke the deadlock following Yaya Kone’s well-dispatched opener in the 14th minute of action.

The Sky Blue Stars responded strongly to that setback and levelled on 23 minutes through Sunday Williams.

Kone bagged a late winner and there was no way back for Remo Stars.

Enyimba 2-0 Katsina United

Ifeanyi Anaemena’s penalty kick and Abdulrahman Bashir’s effort were the flavours needed to sweeten Enyimba’s win over Katsina United.

Henry Ochuba grabbed the solitary strike for Go Round FC who caused an upset at Gombe United.

Akwa United 1-0 FC Ifeanyi Ubah

Rafael Everton’s side grabbed their fourth win of the season, beating highly fancied FC Ifeanyi Ubah 1-0.

Mfon Udoh scored the only goal of the game at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

Despite the loss, the Anambra Warriors still maintain top spot in Group B with 18 points but have a better goal difference than second-placed Elkanemi Warriors.
