Sixteen clubs jostled for points as activities resumed in various centres on match day 20 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Katsina Utd 5-1 Wikki Tourists

Katsina United had an emphatic win as they outplayed Wikki Tourists 5-1 at the Muhammadu Dikko stadium.

Rasheed Ahmed’s brace and goals from Joseph Atule, Samuel Nnochiri and Samuel Kalu gave the Abdul’azeez Mohammed boys a strong lead before Stephen Gopey pulled one back for the Giant Elephant.

Plateau Utd 2-1 Abia Warriors

Ibrahim Mustapha was the hero of Plateau United as his brace helped the Abdu Maikaba’s boys to a 2-1 victory over Abia Warriors. Fatai Abdullahi was on target for the Imama Amapakabo’s boys.

Nasarawa Utd 2-1 Kwara Utd

Kwara United lost for the fourth time this season as they were beaten 2-1 by Nasarawa United at Lafia Township stadium.

Warri Wolves 1-1 Kano Pillars

It was a 1-1 draw in Warri between the home side and Kano Pillars.

Rivers Utd 2-0 Dakkada FC

Sunday Adetunji and Paul Acquah’s goals in the 20th and 32nd minutes of play respectively ensured the Stanley Eguma’s boys picked all three points at the Yakubu Gowon stadium in Port Harcourt.

Akwa Utd 2-1 Sunshine Stars

Charles Atshimere’s brace helped Akwa United to defeat Sunshine Stars.

Enyimba 0-2 Rangers Int’l

All Salisu Yusuf’s wards needed were two spot kicks delivered by Christian Nnaji and Elijah Ani in the 57th and 90th minutes respectively to trounce the Fatai Osho’s boys in Aba.

Adamawa Utd 0-1 Heartland FC

Kingsley Maduforo’s 80th minute strike was all Heartland needed to take all maximum points against Adamawa United in Bauchi.
